pain in my lower left stomach near my hip.?

i had a few sharp stabbing pains yesterday but they went away as quick as they came. these were in my lower left abdominal. today it has been getting gradually worse. its now got to the point where it is a dull pain contantly, but when i walk , cough or get up or sit down, when i drive over speed bumps etc its hurts so bad. does anyone have any idea of what it migt be. obviously its sunday so i can’t get to the doctors until tomorrow. I am female, aged 20. i had a child 7 months ago (dont know if this matters)

Check out this link. When I heard you say that the pain is worse when you walk, it reminded me of when my brother had an appendicitis. The pain in his abdomen was much worse when there was pressure applied to his feet. I know the appendix is on the right side, but the pain can be in other places in your abdomen.Trust your instincts-I think they are telling you to be checked out. It may be something else, or nothing at all. But, you are a new mom and owe it to your baby to stay healthy!
