I’m pregnant and I have these horrible abdominal pain’s?

I just found out I was pregnant and I have these pains everyday in my abdominal. I don’t know why they keep coming back. I went to the doctor, and he said it was probably because my body was blocking the baby out? Does that mean I’m not going to have the child?

First…how far along are you? If you are still in the first trimester, those pains are probably what I called “pulling pains.” That would be your uterus and muscles in that area changing. I know they can be painful, but they are normal. As long as they are not doubling over pains, or associated with bleeding, you are probably ok. I don’t think your body is “blocking the baby.” Because if the doctor was concerned aobut miscarriage, he would have you in the hospital.

Is your doctor an ob? I would go to a different doctor if not. Best of luck to you, hon.
