symptoms abdominal pain bloating gas
What could cause the gastrointestinal problems that I’ve been having for months?
My symptoms came on suddenly and have gotten worse with time, and I haven’t been able to find a doctor who takes me seriously. It used to be worse in the morning, but now it’s much worse in the evenings. My symptoms include:
Nausea, gas, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain–around belly button, sometimes stomach, spreading up to lungs and back, a burning sensation around my belly button and now lungs in the evening, fatigue, gastrointestinal problems worse after eating, decreased appetite and get full quickly, shaking when I’m about to get really sick, coughing/heaviness of chest, pain when sleeping on back, a feeling of fullness around my heart, unpredictable menstrual cycle, right ovary has been prominent and tender, itchy eyes and back of throat
Yikes! Gal, you got it good whatever it is! Try finding a female doctor.
You could have any number of things like ulcers in the stomach and/or intestines, or severe allergic reaction.
Immediately start a food diary, noting everything and how much you snack on, eat and drink and time of day. Take that with to see if there’s some indication if that’s the cause. For some possible quick relief, eat no vinegar (mustard, ketchup, salad dressings; try no fat for frying or on food (includes butter), no carbonated drinks, no alcohol, no chocolate, no cheese, no cracked grain breads, no raw veggies, no fruit.
What’s left is bland, bland, bland, but might help. Rice, toast, mashed potatoes, skinless chicken and fish, etc. Use spices carefully to not irritate digestive tract. See if that makes any difference until you can get a medical opinion. That info will help.
It’s possible the irritation of stomach and intestines can be what’s causing ovary tenderness.
Bless your heart, I hope you find out soon.
