abdominal pain hormone
Could I still be pregnant even though I just had my period?
Okay, here is the situation. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex a couple of times between March 15th to March 18th. My period was due on March 23rd. I was late and just started on March 30th. I took a blood test that came back negative for HCG (Pregnancy Hormone). But I’m thinking it was too early to tell. My question is, could I still be pregnant even though I had my period? I have been having abdominal pain since last week, but I have no idea if that has anything to do with it. So, could I be pregnant or not? Please help!
Yes, it’s possible to be pregnant and still have a period. Also, it’s not uncommon to have some bleeding at just around the time your period would be due because the egg is implanting in the uterine wall.
If you’re having abdominal pain, you really should get to your doctor and if it gets worse, the hospital.
Ectopic pregnancies can rupture your tube and cause internal bleeding that is VERY serious and even life threatening.
