lower abdominal pain ibs
Very sharp lower abdominal pain! Please help ?
Ok so I have IBS constipation. Also my period should be starting any day now.
I have been constipated for the past 2 weeks or so.
Today I all of a sudden got the WORST lower stomach cramps ever. I could barely breath. It hurts under my belly button.All over, so not just favoring one sport, just in the whole lower region.
I went to the bathroom and I went A LOT. At first it was solid, then it become diarrhea. After that it felt better.
I went home and took Ibprofen.
Now the meds have worn off and it still hurts really bad.
I know I am not sick because I can still eat, no nausea, and no fever.
Also my period still hasnt come.
Is this from being so blocked up and then finally letting it go? Or from the period? Please help.. I am in so much pain.
OK Sarah first you have to ask yourself – what have I been feeding my body? You need to look at your diet. Try eating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, also drink plently of filtered water! IBS is preventable and treatable. Aloe vera gel has had great success with many IBS sufferers, maybe you could look into that. The pain is obviously your body trying to tell you something. You need to do something about this as it is not normal. The more medications you take the worse you are going to get. Take care =)
