severe abdominal pain kidney infection
are x-rays reliable?
I was admitted to hospital wed night with abdominal pains on right side low down. a urine sample showed blood and a blood test showed severe infection. They ruled out kidney infection as it was too low, also my appendix because the pain wasnt constant. I had an x-ray and an ultrasound scan but how closely do the look at these, all they said was that there was fluid in my abdomen and it could be a burst ovarian cyst. I was sent home next day and realised i had not been for 4 days so i took a gentle laxative which worked and the bloating in my stomach went down. I now have a sharp pain in the top right of my abdomen when i breathe in. Any clues to whats going on?
Actually yes.. X rays are EXTREMELY reliable. The grain for each picture is specially high def. A good doctor could look at say your femur, and tell you at which place it would be worse to be hit at.
They’re quite definitive.
The pain when you breathe in… go back. Thanks for the question and all, but breathing in should NOT hurt.
Good luck with it all too.
