… please help!?

I have seen a walk-in clinic doctor and went today to my family doctor but i am waiting for an ultra sound which will be in two weeks.
The walk-in doctor said the pains i was having were due to a bladder infection and prescribed me antibiotics. It’s been 2 days of antibiotics and the symptoms are still present and seem to have moved further up my abdomen under my ribs and left hand side. The feeling seems to be when i eat or drink, it’s a sharp pain and a lot of pressure type of sensation. I normally don’t feel this lethargic and groggy but the last couple of days i can’t seem to get it together.
The blood test results will most likely be available tomorrow but again the ultrasound not until March 19th.
Does anyone have any experience in this or have a similar situation they could lend their expertise.

I don’t exactly have the same symptoms or any real expertise in this area, but what I can say is perhaps if you give the specific name of the antibiotic given, prescribed dosage, etc there may be more of an explanation as to why it may just be a bladder infection. Infections can be iffy, and I can tell you right now that someone who has NEVER taken one (I’ve always been pretty resilient despite some pretty scary things happening) it fixed a lot of problems when given time.

Give it a few more days; otherwise, you may want to write down times, activities you may be doing, and a description of on-goings with other misc. pains/whatever.

I wish you the best =( sounds quite uncomfortable.
