My boyfriend has been experiencing these symptoms for at least 2 years now, at first he was experiencing all of the symptoms but after that it was just narrowed down to severe abdominal pain and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea. I think it’s related to stress and for some reason when it does flare up which is every now and then it always happens around the same time which is 4am. My boyfriend usually wakes out of his sleep and has to go to the bathroom and this could either make him feel better or he starts feeling like the severe abdominal pain is coming which is so bad that he curls up in fetal position and can’t move. He’s been to the hospital multiple times and they’ve diagnosed him with so much different things it’s ridiculous but recently they’ve been sticking to IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Does anyone have an idea of what this could be and has anyone had this problem?
