Does anyone have PCOS?
I was diagnosed with it 3 weeks ago and I have amenorrhea with it. I was put on provera to jumpstart my periods. I have now been on my period for 7 days and it isn’t slowing down at all. Isn’t this a bit dangerous? Also, I’m in constant lower abdominal pain and feel like I have swollen knots above my mons pubis and even on that area wher the two pubic bones connect. What should I do honestly?
It isn’t THAT dangerous, my doctor (I have PCOS too) told me that if a period ever lasts more than 14 days to see him again as it can be a symptom of an underlying problem with the ovaries.
In all honesty, I would go to your doctors, particularly for the pains you are describing.
