abdominal pain tests
Severe Abdominal Pain. Please help.?
I went to the urgent care center today because I have severe abdominal pains. They tested my urine and blood and sent me home. I went to the hospital a few weeks prior for the same thing they tested my urine and sent me home. I’ve had continuing pain for 24 hours now and I want to know what I should be doing until I can get into the doctor on the 4th. Also I’m 17 years old and taking Yaz. I took some Ibuprofen but it’s not helping like it usually would. I’ve had ongoing cramps now for about 4-5 weeks.
Maybe you have a cyst, or many cysts as in PCOS. Go see your family doctor or a gyno and ask for an ultrasound. Chronic pelvic pain is common in PCOS and I have that, it is very painful at times, and a dull ache most of the time.
Your doctor can prescribe some pain medication for you.
