i am 40 weeks pregnant with upper abdominal pain right under the rib cage is this normal?
its more like cramping my stomache gets really tight and heavy
Most likely yes. Your baby is full term and is taking up all the space and that is why you are experiencing this pain most likely. I suggest drink some thing like orange juice and then move your baby by wiggling at your stomach a little bit, that may help. But there is limited space. Call your doctor. You could be in labor, but maybe he/she will want to start you if it is causing discomfort you are full term. Good luck to you. Congrats on the baby. Any moment now…
