abdominal pain green stools

I have Irritable bowel syndrome… I need doctors to answer this?
Currently, I am having diarrhea and my stool is colored green, specifically olive green. What causes stool to become green? I observed whenever my stool is green, I usually have abdominal pain.
Like the others that have answered your question already, I am no doctor; however, I had ulcerative colitis and had a total colectomy.
So speaking from experience, you should find a gastroenterologist you trust and have a colonoscopy. Most of your symptoms seem consistent with any of the diseases included under the irritable bowel umbrella.
