What could this be???

I’m 9 w 4 d Pregnant. I’ve been having the usual Pregnancy Symptoms.
Which don’t bother me at all, and I’m fine.
I’ve been having really bad gas pains though, and frequent changes in my bowels
such as; Very Dark stools almost black and very hard;
To green, to very soft. I know this is tmi but my Drs appointment isn’t for another 2 weeks.
I’ve had very bad gas pains. I’m concerned it’s been in my upper and lower abdominal area.
Have any of you Mommys gone through this? and it was normal or turned out okay?

Bowel Movements change and fluctuate during pregnancy and so does tummy troubles. Sometimes, when we eat things such as leafy greens or brocollie, it causes a change in color in stools. Also, if you are eating more fruits and veggies you can expect to have more bulky stools cause your intaking more fibre. It is possible as well that your stomach pains are caused from the fact that your baby doesnt like what your eating and is letting you know it. Not everything you used to eat will necesarily sit well in the stomach. The amount of water you drink also affects the hardness of your stools, as well..during pregnancy the bowels slow down and dont digest things as fast, and an increase of progesteron happens as well which can slow down stuff from moving out of your system. Remember, that your bowels are like a long link of sausage..if stuff in your body doesnt come out, then it stays blocked up in the intestines and can rot literally, causing un-wanted gas..

If it concerns you, phone your doctor sooner.. Just sounds like normal to me..However, if your stools turn dark and tarry looking like black tar or contain blood..then please see someone immediately.
