severe abdominal pain, severe abdominal swelling, whats going on?

for the past month and a half, i’ve had extremely bad abdominal swelling as well as severe stomach pain. i’ve also been retaining fluid and had the runs for quite awhile. i also have a constant low grade fever (around 99.5) and i’m always very itchy. i’ve been to the er three times, each time resulting in a different answer. the first time i was told i had salmonella, the second time i was told i had an irritable stomach, and the third time i finally saw a gi doctor. i’ve had multiple blood tests (all came back fine with the exception of a slightly irritated pancreas), multiple xrays, done two stool samples, and i’ve had a sigmoidoscopy. the scope showed an irritated colon so i had a biopsy and the samples were sent to pathology and they all came back normal. i’m scheduled for a full colonoscopy soon, but if they don’t find anything, i don’t know what’s wrong. does anyone have any idea?
