How can a post hysterectomy patient have a 3rd ovary that was not found?
I recently had a hysterectomy and a week after developed severe lower abdominal pain, a trip to the ER and a CT scan later revealed I have another “left ovary” with a cyst. I have since had another CT scan, ultrasounds, and bloodwork to check hormone levels and ev thing points to a 3rd ovary..Can anyone help me or have any info on this topic…??? Please
the only thing that comes to mind is a birth defect
