Lower right side …?

I have had this pain on my lower right side. Just below where my rib cage ends and above my appendix. I have had it since last Thursday and it seems to get worse at night when I am laying down although I can feel it all the time. I can press down and it is very tender. I know people will say, ‘Why dont you just go to the Dr.’s?” But I have no health insurance. I guess I am trying to get an understanding on what it could be so then I will go to the Dr.I’m 22, I have never had menstual cramps and had a baby 5 months ago. I have seen on here that it could be a tubal pregnancy. Wouldnt 5 days make a HUGE difference on the pain scale? It has gotten worse but not dramatically. Any ideas folks?

There is a lot of area between your rib cage and your appendix – since the appendix is practically near your hip. Is the pain closer to the ribs or to the appendix?

If it’s closer to the ribs, that’s the liver on the right (above the waistline). If it has moved from your side toward the front, it could be a kidney stone.

Have you had your appendix removed already? Because they say the pain from appendicitis actually migrates from near the naval at first and then moves closer to the actual appendix area.

Obviously, you do need to be examined by a physician sooner, rather than later. Your baby needs and deserves a healthy mother. Take care, and good luck!
